I'm Andy.
Andy Gagne is a professional photographer, backcountry sports enthusiast and registered Maine Guide who calls Norway ME home. In 2010 he drove a van to Utah for a season of skiing and adventure. After five years of growing his passion for backcountry skiing, river running and mountain biking he returned to Maine where his passion for the outdoors originally began. He was pleased to be greeted by a thriving and unique backcountry community.

With nearly 20 years of experience working in the outdoor industry and a decade of professional photography Andy has combined his love for outdoor sports and passion for environmentalism with photography. You can often find him backcountry skiing, whitewater kayaking and mountain biking with a camera in hand. HIs photography showcases the connection between human recreation, environmentalism and inclusivity in the outdoor space. He works with environmental and recreation based organizations, brands and publications.
This past spring Andy paddled source to Sea on Maine’s Crooked River and produced a documentary to raise awareness about clean drinking water in Maine - stay tuned for its release this spring!
